Miriam Schiff, MA, LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in both California and Colorado and received her education and training in Los Angeles California.    Miriam has 19 years experience working in the mental health field in various capacities in the non profit and private sectors.  In both areas she has extensive experience with individuals, couples, adolescents, and families, groups, as well as at-risk and transitional youth.  Miriam has supervised graduate level interns and presented training workshops for therapists and supervisory staff.  She is the Founder and Director of The Colorado Institute for Self Awareness. 

Miriam is a Certified Neuro Emotional Techniques Practitioner and trained in EMDR using a holistic mind-body approach in therapeutic process with her clients.
